1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ascent Yard Care admin platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Ascent Yard Care and is intended exclusively for authorized Ascent Yard Care employees. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Ascent Yard Care is an internal business management platform for lawn care and yard care service professionals. The Service provides:
- Customer relationship management (CRM) for clients
- Multi-channel communication tools including email (via Gmail integration), SMS, and web form management
- AI-powered customer interaction monitoring and management
- Integration with third-party services such as Jobber, Google (Gmail API), and Stripe
- Dashboard, reporting, and administrative tools
The Service is not a public-facing consumer product. Access is restricted to authorized personnel of Ascent Yard Care.
3. Access and User Accounts
Access to the Service is granted to authorized Ascent Yard Care employees only. User accounts are provisioned by administrators and authenticated via passwordless one-time password (OTP) login. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials and email account secure
- All activity that occurs through your account
- Notifying an administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
As an authorized user of the Service, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for legitimate Ascent Yard Care business purposes
- Handle customer data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws
- Not share your account access with unauthorized individuals
- Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service
5. Third-Party Integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms to provide its functionality. By using these integrations, you also agree to comply with the respective terms of service of those providers:
- Google (Gmail API): Used to read and send email on behalf of connected business accounts. Usage complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
- Jobber: Used to sync client and service data for business operations.
- Stripe: Used for subscription billing and payment processing.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, and functionality, is the property of Ascent Yard Care and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Authorized use of the Service does not grant any ownership rights to users.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascent Yard Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or any errors in third-party integrations.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
Ascent Yard Care may revoke access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or termination of employment. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
